20 years ago I was blessed to realize my Life Purpose – my Passion - is to work with people on Medicare. Through various life paths, I have worked with companies offering a variety of opportunities for Medicare beneficiaries. It hasn’t all been easy – that’s for sure.
I have met many individuals that are seeking “something” – a change in life – a new beginning for many reasons ranging from employment or financial loss, divorce, death and many who have found out early retirement isn’t exactly how they thought it would be. What does everyone have in common? They are all seeking their “Life Purpose”.
I am also a “Baby Boomer” and many of my clients are also Baby Boomers. We are a unique generation. Boomers today represent 28% of the U.S. population. But in 1964, we represented about 40% of the population.
Many Baby Boomers are caring for their parents and assisting them with their Medicare decisions. And, the first of the Baby Boomers turn 65 in January, 2011. That’s why you will see a whole section dedicated to Medicare and changes to Medicare.
